How routes will be chosen

Each route undergoes an individual analysis before joining the network. The main criteria are:

  • Passenger demand and competition in each market
  • Operating cost per route, including airport charges and fuel
  • Availability of slots at coordinated airports
  • Aircraft range and configuration

ANAC certification

To carry passengers on scheduled flights in Brazil, an airline must be certified by ANAC (Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency) under Brazilian Civil Aviation Regulation 121 (RBAC 121). The process has five phases.

  1. 1

    Pre-application

The company requests a Pre-Application Guidance Meeting with ANAC, which presents the process requirements.

  2. 2

    Formal application

Submission of the formal certification application, with the required initial documentation.

  3. 3

    Document evaluation

ANAC reviews the manuals, training programs and the company's organizational structure.

  4. 4

    Demonstrations and inspections

The company demonstrates its operational capability in practice, overseen by the agency.

  5. 5

    Certification

Issuance of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Operations Specifications, published in the Official Gazette of Brazil.

Operational safety

Operational safety guides every stage of building NG Airlines, from the choice of aircraft to the training of its teams. The certification process requires the company to demonstrate, in practice, its manuals, training programs and a safety management system before receiving authorization to fly.
